Glynis
Ruth Colonial Chapel
This quaint white Colonial
chapel with its old church bell, set against the
backdrop of the African bushveld, seats up to 250
people.
The following is included in your package:
Red carpet, podium, piano, old organ, music system,
aisle stands, chairs, chair covers, confetti
bowl and stand, standard candles, flower stands,
register table.
After the ceremony, your guests
proceed through the Thorn Tree Forest Walkway into
the fairy garden where sherry and iced tea or home-made
lemonade is served. This garden is lit up at night
with fairy lights and lanterns are placed all around
the garden.
A gazebo embraced by thorn trees, is
available for country weddings and is set up
according to your own personal style and taste,
with a red carpet, aisle stands and podium.
Reception
Venue:
The venue consists of the Casablanca Lily Lounge
which opens up onto the Colonial Stoep. The Lounge
has a Safari bar and a separate Coffee Bar and
Dessert Station that is set up in the Old English
Room.
The Stoep with its Colonial draped curtains overlooks
the rolling hills and landscapes and here your
wondrous celebration starts - set against the most
beautiful sunsets imaginable.
The Stoep accommodates up to 250 guests and can
overflow into the lounge area that can accommodate
up to 100 guests.
We provide a bar service to your
choice, in the Safari bar, with its attached lounge
and separate smoker’s stoep.
The venue lends
itself to be decorated to any style and décor
as required. Various packages are available on
consultation that suits your taste, style, budget
and personal requirements. Packages include amongst
others: Royal Wedding Package; Casablanca Special
Package; Victorian High Teas, Colonial Picnic Weddings;
Safari Breakfast; Bushveld Braai; African Skies;
Starlight Picnics; or themed packages such as Morroccon
Feasts.
